The City of Long Beach finally set the hearing date: Tuesday, July 19 at 10:00 a.m.

What does this mean? Well, sadly this means that City has effectively killed the event for 2022 as the hearing officer doesn't have to render a verdict on the appeal for 60 days from the hearing. So it is with great sadness that the ARP Long Beach Sprint Nationals Presented by Nick Rose Insurance will not happen in 2022.

If we win the appeal, the ARP Long Beach Sprint Nationals Presented by Nick Rose Insurance will be back in 2023.

On behalf of the Board, I want to thank everyone that voiced their support for the event and thank you to everyone that signed the petition. We truly have great fans and supporters!

The 2022 National Championships will be held at Lake Ming in Bakersfield on September 24 & 25 and we invite all our fans to attend this event. More details for motorhomes spots/hotel, etc. will be forthcoming on this fb page and the SCSC website -www.scscracing.com

As you may have heard the City of Long Beach has denied our permit for the 2022 Long Beach Sprint Nationals. We have appealed this decision, but need your help. Please consider signing this petition that we will be presenting to the City of Long Beach.

The 2022 race season kicked off this past weekend, March 26-27, in Parker, AZ with The Absolute Speed & Marine Spring Classic Presented by Nick Rose Insurance, Frederick & Son's Heating & Air, Mike Brink Property Management, RaceTec Pistons, Parker Oil, Hot Rods & Hobbies, Amsoil.

Results are now available.

As some of you may have heard Jeannie Doidge will be retiring as the Chief Scorer at the end of the 2022 season. With that being said, we are looking for volunteers to help with registration and scoring at this year’s events. This will provide opportunities to learn the ins and outs of what the scoring staff does and to train prior to her departure. This will also begin our search for a new chief scorer for 2023.
