Pit Move-in Thurs. 6/22 after 2:00 p.m. MDT. Regatta Committee personnel will be assisting with pit locations, DO NOT park yourself. IF you arrive before 2:00 p.m. you will be turned away NO Exceptions. DO NOT park trucks, trailers, boats or any other vehicle on, near or around the intersection located across from the entrance to the Golf Course Marina/Race Course or Edith’s Restaurant. Violators will be fined $200.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO RACE BOATS allowed on the race course at ANY TIME on Thursday. If you launch a boat on Thursday or Friday prior to the official testing on Friday, your team will be asked to leave the race site and there will be a $1000 fine assessed. You will not be able to return to the Idaho Regatta until this fine is paid.

Construction Delays

Please be aware that there is a lot of construction occurring in the area and expect delays when traveling. Interstate 84 has construction on both the west and east bound lanes. Exit 208 (Overland) has construction from Kasota Road all the way to exit 208 in Burley, this is a 7 mile construction zone. Traffic is down to one lane each way due to resurfacing the freeway on the opposite side. There are lane crossovers and restrictions. Proposed construction is planned for exit 211 (Loves Truck Stop). This has not started yet, but could be started at the time of the event. Additionally, 10 miles east of Burley has construction at the new Port of Entry on the southside, eastbound lanes of I-84. To the west there is construction on the eastbound lanes from Jerome to Twin Falls due to freeway widening.

6:00 pm - 8:00 pm: Racer Registration at Best Western Event Center, Boat Show-N-Shine. Food available from restaurants and food vendors.

Fri. 6/23

9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. — Boat Parade Meet & Greet at Kodiak America Parking Lot

8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. — Racer registration at the race site

12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. — Testing & Tuning at the race site

Sat. 6/24

10:00 a.m. — National Anthem

10:05 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. — Heat races

Sat. 6/25

10:00 a.m. — National Anthem

10:05 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. — Heat races

Planning on attending the Friday test session? Pre-register for testing to get the $75 rate. Testing rate will go up to $100 if signing up on-site on Friday.

Information & Updates: 2023 Season Opener/Spring Classic Race Teams

Spring Classic "Amy & Jerry Ross Memorial" Race Teams:

Please note that the pits DO NOT open until Friday, March 17th at 8:00 a.m., NOT Wednesday or Thursday please! If you arrive early you will need to ask the gate staff if there is availability in either the overflow parking or if the pits are available. If they allow you to park in the pits DO NOT spread out and please park perpendicular to the water.

Absolutely NO Motorhomes on the waterside of the pits/fire lane.

Speed limit in the park in some areas is 5 mph, please DO NOT speed inside the park. Please DO NOT disturb the park guests.

All race teams will pay parking fees upon arrival to the main gate.

Registration opens on Friday at 10:30 a.m. and will close at 6:00 p.m. inside the Pavilion.

Saturday registration opens at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 8:00 a.m. sharp inside the Pavilion.

Driver's meeting is Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. — All drivers must attend.

Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. in the Pavilion, SCSC will be honoring the 2022 High Point Champions. We hope you all will come join us in celebrating them.

Coach T's BBQ will be onsite serving breakfast and lunch on Saturday & Sunday.

Reserve Your RV Spot – Lake Ming Regatta

Race Fans: RV camping spots are available for the 2023 Lake Ming Regatta. Spots will be on the East side of the lake. This is dry camping, with no hook-ups.

Rate: $200 for the weekend

Admission:

  • $20 per person (weekend rate)
  • Kids 12 and under are free
  • Pit Pass $5 per day

RV Move-in: Friday April 28th.

RV Move-out: All RV's must be out by end of day on Sunday, April 30th.
