RV Camping Information – Lake Ming Shoot Out

Race Fans,

RV camping spots will be available on the East side of the lake for the 2022 Lake Ming Shoot Out/U.S. National Championship. This is dry camping, with no hook-ups.

If interested in reserving a spot, please contact Jeannie Doidge at jdsjmom@aol.com, 818-894-3759 (home phone) or 818-321-0983 (cell phone) by Sept. 15th to receive you confirmation number and arrange payment.

  • Name
  • Phone Number
  • Number of Adult Admissions

Price:

  • $150.00 for the weekend

Admission:

  • $20 per person (weekend rate)
  • Kids 12 and under are free

Must reserve spot by Sept. 15th

RV Move-in will start on Friday, Sept. 23rd.

All RV’s must be out by end of day on Sunday, Sept. 25th.

**No additional vehicles will be allowed on the race site**

Additional parking will be available in the lot across the road from the lake

Burley Race Teams: Important Information Regarding Pit Move-in

Racers,

Do not line up at the race course prior to 2 p.m. MT. Due to heavy construction in the area staging is now at the Airport parking lot (across the road) prior to 2 p.m. or you can stage at the Marina parking lot just south of the Heyburn Bridge.

Long Beach Sprint Nationals Update

The City of Long Beach finally set the hearing date: Tuesday, July 19 at 10:00 a.m.

What does this mean? Well, sadly this means that City has effectively killed the event for 2022 as the hearing officer doesn't have to render a verdict on the appeal for 60 days from the hearing. So it is with great sadness that the ARP Long Beach Sprint Nationals Presented by Nick Rose Insurance will not happen in 2022.

If we win the appeal, the ARP Long Beach Sprint Nationals Presented by Nick Rose Insurance will be back in 2023.

On behalf of the Board, I want to thank everyone that voiced their support for the event and thank you to everyone that signed the petition. We truly have great fans and supporters!

The 2022 National Championships will be held at Lake Ming in Bakersfield on September 24 & 25 and we invite all our fans to attend this event. More details for motorhomes spots/hotel, etc. will be forthcoming on this fb page and the SCSC website -www.scscracing.com
